While browsing a friend's ipod inventory, I came across an amazing song, hide and seek by imogen heap. Of course this song's been out for a while, I just haven't heard it and how amazing it is. The sentimental lyrics and truly melodic harmonies create an emotional attachment which links you to the electronified voices of the stranger. Another find is The Gift by Aselin Debison. She's a Canadian Celtic singer who unofficially started her career by singing at miner protests in her hometown. I heard this while listening to a local holiday station and was captured by her amazing acapella vocals. She is now 17, but I have a feeling she sang this song when she was much younger. It isn't a sad song, but I cried when I heard it. I don't know why. Maybe it was the affection of the character in the song, or maybe it was the jealousy of this girl's amazing voice that comes from raw talent.

While doing my black friday shopping, I looked out the front of the Steve Madden store as I was trying on a gorgeous pair of black suede boots across the wing to see a store I'd never seen before. It was something new for me, one of those stores with so much floorspace you know they make up for it in prices. I had to check it out. Of course the prices were through the roof, but it was black friday and everyone had a sale. A specific item, a white quilted leather jacket caught my eye. Of course it was out of my price range and I had to move on. But that is certainly not the last time I'm visiting that store.

Something new

Alright, really big. Someone of extreme influence (to me at least) told me today I lack conversation skills. It was a pretty big blow, and truly, I don't think It was my fault. He asked "Hey, what's up" of course I said "Not much" and he said "Thats it?" But what else am I supposed to say? When someone asks me 'what's up' I'm not going to give them a detailed description about how I hate Algebra or my shopping trip last Friday, or should I? 'What's up' is truly the worst opener to a conversation if you actually want the question answered.

So I officially have a new fasination with sailor moon. Something about her delicate figure and unknown identity is increasingly intriguing. However much I have despised anime, I have to say, I am becoming a sailor fan. The dress is incredible, and that hairstyle is amazing.

To start off

Well. No facebook, no myspace, I've resorted to a blog sigh. I went to a Betsey Johnson store the other day and completely fell in love with her designs. The crazyness is inspiring. However, my most recent design inspirations have come from gossip girl. I have decided that before I die, I will learn to speak french and hindi, play the piano and violin, and travel across Europe. I'm going to go to college in L.A. and become an actress. I have it all planned out see?
